FAQ

Questions before booking

When is the best time to take newborn photos?: I strongly recommend scheduling newborn photo sessions before baby turns two weeks old. We can do the session for older babies, but the results are best when they are younger. To make sure your session goes smoothly and we get the best results, please try to book your session as early as possible.
Should I book before the baby arrives?: It is important to book your session before the delivery. In some cases we can arrange an emergency session, but reserving ahead is always best.
Can other family members join the session?: All family members are welcome. You can arrange with your spouse and other family members to come to the session, take a few shots, and leave if that is what they prefer.
What should we wear to the session?: I recommend coordinating but not matching outfits. Feel free to consult with me for styling tips before your session.
What should I bring to the session?: It is helpful to bring bottles of breast milk or formula, as well as a pacifier if you have one. This allows us to feed and comfort the baby as needed during the shoot.
Are in-home sessions available?: I offer in-home sessions for Ultimate Newborn and Ultimate Maternity packages. Please get in touch for more details if you would prefer the session in the comfort of your own home.
When will I receive my photos?: Edited galleries are typically delivered within 2–3 weeks of your session. You will receive a link to a private online gallery where you can view, download, and share your images.
Where is the studio located?: The studio is located at Unit 5, 8980 Fraserwood Ct, Burnaby, BC V5J 5G6. Free parking is available on site. Detailed directions are sent with your booking confirmation.
